Cloudburst - Milk Espresso

In the cup
We get a sweet profile of caramel candies, bright florals, stonefruit and a sticky candy bar. This coffee has a vibrant but balanced acidity and a long sweet finish. In dairy it reminds us of almonds and caramel chews.
About The Producer
Daniel Munoz is a unique figure in coffee. The primary crop of his family was and continues to be sugar cane. For years he took this raw product and turned it into an incredibly popular Colombian snack which he sold in San Agustin along with running a hardware store. He then purchased Villa Camilla (named after his daughter) with the direct purpose of growing high grade specialty coffee and his farm is explicitly committed to Pink Bourbons and Gesha. Daniel and his wife Naydu are committed to quality and to sharing what they have learnt.
Variety
Pink Bourbon is a variety primarily grown in Huila, Colombia and while newer, it has quickly grown in popularity for its bright, sweet and aromatic profiles. It is now known to be an Ethiopian Landrace but further information is not available at this time.
