Discover the remarkable journey of Santa Teresa Farm, an oasis nestled in the heart of Luya province. Acquired in 2010 by the visionary Don Andres Torres, this sprawling estate spans approximately 11.5 hectares, gracefully perched at an average altitude of 1680 meters above sea level.

The initial challenges were daunting – an isolated haven with no public road or electricity. Undeterred, Don Andres and his dedicated children united, turning adversity into opportunity. Through unwavering dedication, they toiled ceaselessly to cultivate their dreams, tending to their crops with relentless passion.

In a testament to their tenacity, a path emerged from the wilderness, easing accessibility to their burgeoning haven. With determination and resourcefulness, they orchestrated the arrival of potable water and harnessed the power of the sun with solar panels, illuminating their journey forward.

Kyle has decided to rehydrate these greens following the methods of Christopher Fern's Blog post here. We believe this creates an even more pronounced flavour and profile to this coffee.

Cup of Excellence; Fifth Place

This was merely the beginning. Santa Teresa Farm soared to new heights with the introduction of the revered Gesha variety, a testament to their commitment to excellence. Each crop cycle saw continuous enhancements, resulting in an exquisite natural processed coffee that resonated on a global scale.

Their brilliance culminated in a triumphant fifth-place victory at the esteemed Cup of Excellence contest in 2021. Earning a resounding 89+ score, their natural processed coffee astounded judges and coffee connoisseurs alike, a true testament to their dedication and mastery.
