As a small start up, you see a mixture of highs and lows, sometimes all within the same hour. September HQ is coming along (not enough to show everything just yet but soon!), and we're expecting our new roaster to arrive in the next month.
And while there is a lot of good, what would a new business be without some challenges. And we've been nothing but transparent thus far... initially our shipping has not always been kind to us. Our system didn't always update properly with tracking information or notifies customers when packages have shipped. We've had a few unexpected expenses with our new facility. Banking mishaps with a supplier delaying green coffee shipments. A scary delay for our roaster's financing and the list can go on.
But we won't kid ourselves. We've had incredible small victories as a small business too. Our Kickstarter was out of this world. We're still in disbelief to be honest. Our Web-store launch and subscription reception was humbling. The response from all of you has been over the moon kind and wonderful. Witnessing repeat customers (as a new small business) is truly the greatest compliment we can receive.
